While this isn't the 'goldmine' from one of my earlier contacts, I did get a more or less full steele dawn from the guy behind Spantobi: Unexpected Threat pack for Unreal who also worked on this and Strike Force. Yea it might also help installing it using the original installer or using something else like installing uedfix4 on regular unreal it might also use those libraries. We saw that they used this ed as a base for the early Unreal 2 Editor as well. The NewEd was obviosly the one intended to be released as the standalone package with example textures and maps and promised to the contest winners of xanaweb (might have been tied to the UDC), which was the site linked to from the 'votlan' french edition of Unreal.

Is the editor the same in there also or does it use the 'newed', there was some version of Unreal in a rare patch or something that had the 'newed' in it that we saw in various games including the 220 x-com alliance. I wish I could fire it up myself but can't right now.

I believe that various 221 versions were the last ones which were meant as Unreal: Tournament Edition (so botpack being as expansion pack and bundled with Unreal for a new price - which would make it troublematic for laws of EU unless it was sold for the same price as Unreal, because of 'producttying' laws) instead of a new game and its only 222 when it kicked in, so it might have also the enforcer sound or even more, given that the ut beta was also on 222 that we know and that we never had the vanilla iso of anyway due to delacroix merging it with some 222r files initially on (including the unreal maps and unrealed).

Well since the base code around that time was focused on UT as a new game already I am not surprised about the sounds or it could have been an accidental mix up. Not to mention that 'Division V2' betrayed its own premise by including reworked beta maps too (as opposed to only exclusives) and renaming villa2 to villa (clashing with a custom dm map dmvilla for online play) which is probably why it was renamed by epic to villa2 in the first place to avoid mismatches of existing custom map apart from being extension to the beta villa. It wasn't there just for the cool sounding name. I know the logic was 'opposite of fusion is division' however without realizing why the 'Fusion' name came to be makes this logically invalid afterwards. Well, someone's logic I guess, but it wasn't in the minds of Epic that's for sure. Which is kind of then nonsensical for someone to pack other exclusives into something called 'Division' as opposed to fusion pack v2 or something. But its interesting to know it went into OEM releases first before being known as Fusion Pack.Д«ut fusion obviously meant fusion of all the separately released maps. Most of these maps were released standalone anyways first.

The map version with redeemer in it is seen in one of the botpack preview videos. So basically the fusion pack is just the OEM extra maps plus one map meant to be in botpack (twilight) but with the redeemer removed and botpack stuff not being there anymore. I suppose 222r has the same contents in extra maps as 223m, which means that version of unreal is Unreal + Fusion Pack (minus one map and that is dm-twilight which was made after those released). Apparently the long lost version 222r has been uploaded to recently (in a bigger pack).
